Assign Colors to Family Members, Multiple Attendees, Birthdays
We’re happy to announce several improvements to the app based on user feedback, including making it easier to visually distinguish between content for different family members using color, allowing multiple attendees on calendar events, automatically adding birthdays to the calendar, and more.
Assign Colors to Family Members
You can now assign colors to individual family members, including you, your partner, children, grandparents, and pets. The color you select for each family member will appear on the content that’s about them (calendar appointments, to-dos, health & activity logs, etc.). This is a great way to visually distinguish who different pieces of content are for.
To select the display color for a family member, edit the family member’s info in Settings > Family. There, you’ll be able to select from a range of colors. If a color is not selected, the color will default to gray.
Multiple Attendees
Based on great feedback from one of our users, we added the ability for you to add multiple attendees for calendar events. Previously, only one attendee was allowed for events. This is a great way to specify which parent is responsible for a soccer game, doctors appointment, or other event for one of the kids.
Birthdays
When you specify a birthdate for a family member, a reminder will appear on your calendar on their birthday each year. The reminder will also be included in your published calendar that you view in other calendar apps. This is a great way to have a full view of all the upcoming celebrations you have to prep for! If you’d like to specify a birthdate for a family member, simply edit their info in the Settings > Family section.
